Jay Frankel, the President and Founder of True To Life Training, spent over a decade in the corporate training world, starting at Gap Inc. where he managed and implemented training initiatives in sales, management, and leadership for all levels of management throughout the Northeastern United States. While with Gap Inc., Jay was selected to head up the development of a Human Resource & Training Department for new operations in France, where he lived and was essential to the growth of this start up venture.

Leaving the Gap to become the Director of Training and Development for Viacom Inc., Jay played a key role in the creation of a new division of the company which merged all the core brands of Viacom, including MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Pictures into one business concept.

In 1999 Jay began True To Life Training out of a vision inspired by his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Theater from Syracuse University along with his passion and expertise in people development.

In addition to applying that passion and expertise to serving traditional business organizations, Jay Frankel is a highly regarded consultant to both Camps and Schools in the United States and Canada. Clients benefit from his expertise in areas such as Transitions, Organizational Development, Staff and Leadership Training, One-on-One Coaching, Orientation, Evaluation and Manual Design.

Jay is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, as well as an active business affiliate of the American Camp Association. He is married to his college sweetheart and lives in New Jersey where together they are raising two wonderful boys.
