Melissa Cassara | Client Care Manager & Outreach Specialist

Melissa joined True To Life in 1999 and is currently our Client Care Manager for all Snapshot and Outreach Programs. She is often our client’s primary contact during project development. With an expertise in communication and public relations, Melissa has been an integral part of developing our Outreach phone survey service, and plays a crucial role in the success of that initiative. Also a gifted writer and instructor, Melissa is an active member of our content development and facilitator team as well.

Melissa’s professional experience centers on her work in public relations and the performing arts. As a focus panel facilitator and research analyst with i.e. Communication, she has played an important role in helping NJ school districts with their bond referendums and public relations campaigns.

She is also a national award winning radio documentary producer. Melissa’s radio documentary for the Center for Addiction Studies in NJ titled, “Tobacco: Filtering out the Truth” won 1st place from the Philadelphia Press organization and the National Headliners group last year. Melissa is currently producing and writing a documentary on Heroine abuse in New Jersey.

Initially Melissa came to True To Life as an actress. Although her role has grown in the company, her impressive professional theatre experience and considerable talent continues to be valuable to our entire team. She is an award winning actress, having performed in theatrical productions, commercials, industrials, films and voiceovers throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Melissa received her BA in Radio/TV/Film and her MA in Public Relations from Rowan University. She and her husband reside in Marlton, NJ.
