bySTANDer - Gender Based Violence

Drawing on the success of our bystander intervention program for orientation, It IS My Place, STAND is a one-hour gender based violence intervention program created to support your ongoing prevention efforts. STAND is designed to address all student levels at any time of year. Participants are taught to identify problematic situations through eye-opening and practical situations that reflect their reality. They experience a myriad of authentic intervention techniques and identify their personal intervention style. We grow their understanding of what it means to be an active bystander so that students are willing and ready to take a STAND to create a learning community that they can be proud of.
